With a body that sparkles like the night sky and three bright stars shining like Orion’s Belt, he reminds us that the ocean is full of wonder waiting to be discovered.

But Orion’s story began with a question.

One day, a little boy who loves animals and the ocean asked something that stopped his mom in her tracks: “Why are sea turtles, polar bears and whales eating plastic?”

It was a simple question — but one with a heartbreaking truth.

Plastic pollution has found its way into the ocean, affecting the animals that live there and the delicate balance of life beneath the waves.

In that moment, a mission was born.

A mission to help kids learn about the ocean, care for the animals that live in it, and believe that even small actions can make a big waves.

That mission became Ocean Rise.

Orion isn’t just any narwhal.
